Marc, an interior designer from Los Angeles with a flair for the modern and elegant, and Robert, a dedicated doctor, found themselves on a memorable trip to Napa Valley that would inspire the theme for their upcoming wedding. While enjoying the elevated atmosphere at Regis Ova Caviar Bar & Restaurant, they were captivated by the energetic performance of the San Francisco-based retro swing band, The Cosmo Alley Cats. Like a scene straight out of The Great Gatsby, Robert & Marc wanted their wedding to be an elegant evening of opulence and indulgence.

The couple first crossed paths at a dinner party nine years ago, and after a beautiful journey together, they became officially engaged just two months before diving into wedding planning. Their priority was clear: they wanted the day to radiate joy and a laid-back vibe, allowing guests to celebrate love in a stress-free environment.

Flowers held a special significance for Marc and Robert, who envisioned a stunning display of white blooms that exuded elegance while maintaining a modern and masculine touch. I tasked Wine Country Flowers with this vision to bring the room to life.

To personalize their celebration, they designed a custom monogram featuring the initials “MR” for Marc and Robert. This monogram became a delightful motif incorporated throughout the wedding, appearing on the cake, specialty ice cubes, and menus, adding a unique flair to the festivities.

They enlisted my help for partial and full wedding planning services, having already secured their stunning venue and the lively band for the reception. The welcome reception held at Piazza Del Dotto set the stage for an unforgettable celebration, embodying the couple’s vision of a sophisticated yet relaxed gathering.
